Philosophy

First Baptist Christian School is a Christian school founded on the principles of the Word of God, and for the honor and glory of Christ. The Bible exhorts us to "train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it..." Proverbs 22:6. In view of this command of the Lord, the First Baptist Church of Warwick operates FBCS to meet the need for an education that places God at the center of the universe in His rightful place.

Tender plants demand the care of skilled gardeners and the protection of the hothouse for their hope of one day being able to stand the winter's adversity and destructive potential. Young people entrusted to our care are considered as sacred trusts whose soul and character are of infinite value and the object of diligent concern.

Better-qualified Christian teachers--more dedicated to the child's welfare, more understanding of the complexities of his heart and mind, more skillful in the handling of God's Word to shape his life and character--are not to be found in any school anywhere.
