Admissions Policy
Attendance at a private school is a privilege, not a right. FBCS has rules and regulations to which the students and parents must adhere. Any student who does not obey the rules will be expelled. Parents and students will be informed of the dress code, conduct code, and will be expected to cooperate with the school in the discipline of the child. A clearly defined set of guidelines will be discussed with each family. All individual requirements will be outlined. There will be no exceptions. These include:
- A statement on discipline which will outline acceptable behavior.
- Both parents and the student must agree to this statement, and the parents are required to sign a statement to support the school in every way possible.
- Children above the sixth grade level will not be accepted if they do not want to attend FBCS.
- In order to ensure that the school does not obtain a reputation for being a reformatory, all children in the family should be enrolled unless special circumstances exist.
- Students will be accepted in the order of date of receipt of their application.
- If the administrator believes it is necessary, a probationary period of six to nine weeks adjustment may be requried.
- Entrance is not based on I.Q. or achievement ability. The underachiever is welcome unless he gives evidence of becoming a social or moral liability to other students.
- No child will be admitted who:
- has been arrested
- has used drugs
- smokes or has used tobacco for any period of time
- has been dismissed or expelled from any other education institution
- has run away from home
- The child must have a physical examination by a physician and submit a medical form.
- Parents must present a report card of the previous term of school.
